“End of the initial board-and-train.”
He comes home calm. Controlled. Integrated. You think this is what you signed up for — and you’re right. But you didn’t know this is just the floor. The camps haven’t started yet.
Initial board-and-train followed by four monthly week-long camps. The progression that compounds — backed by the Agoge Commitment, for families who don’t want training to stop.
Four moments from a four-month progression. They are not milestones. They are the compounding.
“End of the initial board-and-train.”
He comes home calm. Controlled. Integrated. You think this is what you signed up for — and you’re right. But you didn’t know this is just the floor. The camps haven’t started yet.
“After his first camp.”
A week away. He comes back sharper than when he left. The trainer mentions Camp 2 will build on this. You realize you’re not getting a trained dog — you’re getting a dog that keeps becoming.
“By Camp 3, you’ve stopped noticing.”
The patio brunch is no longer remarkable. The doorbell isn’t a thing. You take him to a friend’s house and forget to mention he’s there. The work has integrated into the household so quietly you can’t pinpoint when it happened.
“Four months. Four camps.”
He’s at a depth you couldn’t have predicted at month one. He’s not a different dog — he’s the dog at his ceiling. And the ceiling is higher than you knew possible.

What enrollment delivers across four months.
24/7 supervision at our private Hartsville facility — during the initial board-and-train phase and every monthly camp that follows. Never in a trainer’s home, never a leased commercial unit, never boarded out to a third party.
Built around your dog’s specific behaviors, your household, and your long-term goals — and designed to deepen progressively across the four months that follow.
Veterinary fecal screening within 48 hours of every arrival, vet-scale weights tracked daily, internal welfare standards applied to every stay — initial B&T and every camp.
After the initial board-and-train, your dog returns to our facility for a week-long camp each month for the next four months. Each one structured. Each one progressing on the last.
Each camp is designed to extend the foundation: new environments, sharper distractions, deeper skills. Your dog leaves each camp with a higher ceiling than when he arrived.
Every week your dog is with us — during initial B&T and every monthly camp — you see real footage from his actual training sessions. The work, the wins, the moments where we course-correct. Not photos. Not paragraphs. Video.
If anything material shifts in your dog’s wellness or progress, you hear from us the same day. You’re never routed through a CRM or a chatbot.
Go-home lessons after each camp, integrating the training into your daily life between facility stays. The work continues at home as much as it does at the facility.
We keep working until the standard is met. No clock to beat. No overage fees. The investment you commit to at the start is the investment, period — across all four months and every camp.
Not for everyone. By design.
If you see yourself in the right column, the next step is a conversation.
We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.
No clock to beat. No upgrade fees. No surprises. Every dog gets the same protocol, the same standard, and the same outcome reliability — regardless of how long it takes us to get there.
What happens between your first inquiry and your dog’s first day.
Submit a consultation request or call us directly. We respond within one business day to schedule a time to talk.
A short phone conversation comes first — just to understand what’s going on with your dog. If we’re a fit, we schedule an in-home consultation (typically 60 to 90 minutes) where we meet your dog, assess the situation, and walk through which program fits.
When you’re ready, we schedule your dog’s start date — pending availability. From the moment your dog arrives at our facility, the work is in motion — backed by The Agoge Commitment.
Different dogs, different goals. The same Agoge Commitment behind every one.

Before you reach out — the answers most people want first.
Yes. Our facility sits on 20 acres of private land in Hartsville, Tennessee, about 50 minutes east of Nashville. Every dog enrolled in our board-and-train programs lives and learns on-site for the duration of the program — never in a trainer’s home, never in a leased commercial unit, never boarded out to a third party.
The facility includes purpose-built indoor and outdoor training environments, an exclusive-access veterinary lab on the property for parasite and wellness testing, and dedicated boarding spaces designed for the welfare standards we hold ourselves to.
Multiple staff members live on-site, which means 24/7 monitoring for every dog in the program. No after-hours gap. No overnight third party. The staff caring for your dog at 8 AM is the same staff caring for your dog at 3 AM.
Visits are by appointment only because the dogs in active programs deserve a focused training environment, not foot traffic.
You get weekly video updates of your dog’s actual training sessions. Each week, you’ll see the work, the wins, and the moments where we course-correct.
But that weekly video is the surface. Underneath is our standard for health and welfare excellence — managed through our custom Agoge Excellence app, a proprietary system built specifically for the way we run programs. Every dog gets daily vet-scale weight tracking, training session logs, feeding records, and behavior notes, monitored against built-in digital safeguards that flag any drift in health metrics the moment it appears. If anything material shifts in your dog’s wellness or progress, you hear from us the same day.
We send video, not photos, because video tells the truth about training. A photo can be staged. A video shows your dog actually doing the work.
The Agoge Commitment is the answer:
“We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.”
There is no clock to beat. There are no upgrade fees. Every dog gets the same protocol, the same standard, and the same outcome reliability — regardless of how long it takes us to get there.
We built it this way because we believe extending your investment over your dog’s welfare is a conflict of interest. The flat-rate guarantee removes that conflict. Our incentive is to do the work right the first time and stake our reputation on it.
We handle this case-by-case, based on what’s best for your dog’s adjustment and training progress.
Some dogs settle in quickly and a mid-program visit reinforces the bond without disrupting the work. Other dogs are still acclimating, and an unscheduled visit can set the training back days or weeks. We make that judgment based on the individual dog and discuss it with you openly.
What we don’t do is open the facility to general visitation. The dogs in active programs deserve a focused environment, and we take their welfare seriously enough to protect it — even from well-meaning interruptions.
Between each camp, your dog is home with you for approximately three weeks. You put the training into practice in daily life — and we build the protocols for that maintenance during the go-home lesson after each camp.
Each camp is a week-long return to our facility, where your dog progresses to the next level. Each one builds on the last — deeper environments, sharper distractions, more refined skill.
After Camp 4, the program ends — but the work doesn’t have to. Our Alumni Maintenance Programs are available to keep your dog sharp long after the four months conclude. Most Cohort graduates step into Alumni naturally because the partnership has already been established.
Honest answer? It depends on what you’re actually looking for.
If what you want is a cookie-cutter, two-or-three-thousand-dollar program that runs every dog through the same script — this isn’t that. Cohort isn’t about a finished product. It’s about a partnership that compounds over four months.
If what you want is a relationship that doesn’t end after a single drop-off — and a dog who keeps getting better — then we’re your people.
Beyond that, pricing depends on your dog’s specific behaviors and goals, whether you’re enrolling one dog or two, and whether there are behavioral needs that shape the program structure. All of that matters more than a number on a webpage.
That’s why we walk through investment together during your consultation. You get a clear, honest read on what this looks like for your situation — and we get to make sure you’re matched to the right program, not sold whatever’s in front of you.
Beyond the investment itself, you get The Agoge Commitment:
“We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.”
Flat-rate. No overage fees. No surprises. The investment you commit to at the start is the investment, period — across all four months and every camp.
Ask yourself honestly: how many other dog training companies would commit to a four-month partnership?
