Behavioral rehabilitation, board-and-train, and concierge logistics for Columbia households — on twenty private acres, guaranteed until the standard is met.
Columbia families have brought their dogs to Agoge from across the broader Maury County area — Northbrook, Riverside, Sugar Bend, the Graymere Country Club area, and the historic neighborhoods surrounding the President Polk Home, the Athenaeum Rectory, and downtown Columbia’s antebellum district. Mule Town families know their dog needs to handle Mule Day crowds, the historic district’s foot traffic, and weekends at Maury County Park — a well-trained dog isn’t optional here.
Columbia is approximately an hour and a half from our facility in Hartsville — south of Nashville along I-65 and I-40. For the families who want to skip the drive, our Elite Membership includes drop-off and pickup logistics for both training and boarding stays — so your dog’s program doesn’t compete with your travel calendar, your weekends in the historic district, or your standing tee time at Graymere.
Aggression, reactivity, fear, severe cases — the national referral for the dogs other trainers won’t take.
Every dog lives and learns on-site in Hartsville — 24/7 supervised, daily vet-scale weigh-ins, video-only updates.
Sprinter pickup at your Columbia door, airport & FBO meetups, boarding that sharpens — built into the Elite Membership.

We work with your dog until you have the dog you signed up for. If we haven’t hit the standard by program end, we keep working — at no additional cost — until we do.
Our facility sits on private land in Hartsville, Tennessee — about an hour and a half northeast of Columbia, across Nashville via I-65 and I-40. The drive is intentional — close enough that drop-off and pickup are workable, but far enough out that the dogs in active programs get the focused, low-traffic environment that high-end training requires.
Frequently. Families from Columbia, Northbrook, Riverside, and the surrounding Maury County neighborhoods are a meaningful share of our client base — particularly multi-dog households and families that travel. We’ve worked with every breed and temperament you’d find in these neighborhoods, from small companion dogs to working breeds. The protocol adapts to the individual dog — and the household it’s coming home to.
Honest answer? It depends on what you’re actually looking for. If you want a cookie-cutter, two-or-three-thousand-dollar program that runs every dog through the same script — this isn’t that. If you want a solution tailored to your specific dog and your family’s situation — then we’re your people.
Investment is walked through in person, during the consultation, after we’ve seen your dog. Every program is flat-rate and backed by the Agoge Commitment: we keep working until the standard is met, at no additional cost.
Yes. The fit check happens by phone first — fifteen minutes with Brian, not a sales call. If we’re a fit, the in-person consultation happens at the facility in Hartsville or in your home, depending on the case. Concierge pickup and drop-off for board-and-train programs is available through the Elite Membership.
